Or, stay on the 'pernt': for libations, visit the The Old Point, with live music regularly, and where many a Hollywood movie has been shot; the Dry Dock for a quick drink or bite after the ferry ride; the Crown and Anchor, a wee bit of ole England just steps from the ferry; Nighthawk Napolitano for pizza; The Little House for oysters and beer; Tonti's for cocktails and finer dining; late night Barracuda Tacos. Stroll or bike along the levee with coffee and sweets from Tout de Suite or Congregation during the morning, or catch the stunning sunsets in the evening. Check out the art and music found all over Algiers Point - such as the Algiers Folk Art & Blues museum. A walkable town where the people are friendly and the nights are as quiet as you want them to be.
